An exclusive roundtable dinner in the Netherlands bringing together AI product leaders from major companies like KLM and Philips. The discussion generated three key insights about building successful AI products in the current landscape. I organized and facilitated the conversation, guiding discussions on AI product strategy and implementation challenges.
The roundtable focused on three critical insights for the evolving AI product landscape. First, the need to proactively predict and prepare for future AI trends rather than reactively following them, as the pace of change continues to accelerate. Second, the importance of building attractive, user-centric AI products that provide genuine value, rather than just exposing APIs or technical capabilities without proper user experience design. Third, the necessity of actively choosing and balancing different quality dimensions in AI systems—understanding that optimization for one aspect often involves trade-offs with others, and being intentional about these decisions. The intimate dinner format allowed for deep, candid conversations about the practical challenges of scaling AI products, managing stakeholder expectations, and building sustainable AI-driven businesses in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
